Ever since Ergon grips hit the North American market I've been intrigued by them. I finally picked up a pair in May and have loved them from day one. See my "Naked Ergon Grip Review".
This past month or so I had been in contact with Jeff Kerkove, Ergon's front man in the States, about a possible sponsorship for the 2008 race season. Just found out today that I've been chosen to represent Ergon as a sponsored rider! Whoot!
Thank you very much Jeff and Ergon. Looking forward to representing in '08.

Lucky dog!
Those grips are awesome!
Good stuff Craig. There are some high profile names on that list... What the?..How the?...
I wonder if he reads this blog? A naked review on grips could give the wrong idea (especially one with bar ends). :-)
Steve - ouch! Got to watch those bar ends!
Just kiddin...I'm not a bar end kinda guy anyways. :-) So what other deals you picking up this year? Lights, frames? Those JET9's look pretty good.
Yep, I read this blog ;-)
I was in Bushtukah last night killin' time shoppinf for Jenns stocking stuffers while the traffic dragged its asses home and came across the Ergon grips.I think you mentioned these things help eliminate hand pain right? Thats a bit of a problem for me which the ODI's have helped with but not quite eliminated so i'm going to try out the Ergons, they felt pretty good in my hand at the store.
Hmmm. My only problem, other than lack of talent, in the 24hrs solo was blisters from my crappy gloves. A good medical-tape job after lap 5 got me through. I'm wondering if better grips would help reduce the odds of blistering. The BC Bike Race keeps weighing on my mind....must eliminate all potential pitfalls...
when i did my first 24 hr solo two years ago, i got bad blisters - and i had good gloves.
this past two 24 solos, not an issue
Peter, i think that you would be very happy with them
Sold. Anthony swears by them as well and he has the hands of a little girl so that's a weighty testament.
I picked up a set of these last fall, only managed one ride before the snow landed but loved the grips. I really noticed a lot of wrist support as well as the comfort.
