The tariff bill? The Hawley-Smoot Tariff Act?
Which, anyone?
Raised or lowered?... raised tariffs, in an effort to collect more revenue for the federal government. Did it work?
Anyone? Anyone know the effects?
It did not work, and the United States sank deeper into the Great Depression. Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class?
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before?
The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says?
It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980?
Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics.
"Voodoo" economics.
This blog is dying.
Meh.

You still have your health, enjoy life/sports/bikes etc.

You are down in the cells too much...
and, stay out of vanier!
Aw, I'm sorry I hurt your feeling the other day. It wasn't you, I'm sure. Mighta been the bike...
Dunno how anyone writes bike blogs in the winter anyway. Turn it into a hiking XC skiing blog???
wv: mudeaffh
As in Crank the Shield put us through muddeath
btw, my new theory about CTS is that if you did BC Bike Race first, your expectations are all wonky.
this month i posted a review, begged for sponsorship, wrote my name with pee in the snow, had some out-of-doors shots, had some masterpiece photoshopping, and posted about riding in Crested Butte and still the blog is blah-say and hardly anyone reads it.
no hurt feelings kim . . . sniff . . .
cold weather has turned me soft and i don't want to be on the bike right now - can't wait for ski season though
life goes on and maybe it's about time that this blog R.I.P . . .
just doesn't seem like I have anything interesting to blog about anymore - i hardly ride with anyone, i don't have sponsor's wares to sell, no team to ride for, right now nothing to train for . . . motivation is lacking, meh, it's fall. i'm sure it will return.
thanks for the words everyone
and what the hell is going on with my followers??? they're all gone?!? WTF?!?!?
Your followers are stuck in cells... they hear voices.
biking is still good up in the gats. Make use of it! The neige is coming.
The blog is for you, who cares who reads. Write if you still have fun doing it. If not, then yeah, let it die.
That's the way I look at it anyway. I only write if I want to...
Selfishly speaking, I still like reading your blog and would be disappointed if it went away.
